Our Firm

Sonja R. Faust CPA was formed in 1989 by Sonja after five years of valuable experience at a large public accounting firm where she specialized in tax and small business accounting.  Sonja's husband, Pat, joined our firm in 2001 after twenty years in the computer industry.  Pat is an Enrolled Agent, which is a designation of the Internal Revenue Service and allows him to communicate and represent clients to the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing agencies.  We are blessed with loyal clients and strive to provide professional, responsive and personal service to each client and their unique situation.  In August 2020, we moved from Waconia to Minnetrista (very eastern edge of St. Bonifacius) to downsize and be closer to our children. We are blessed with three grown children, six grandchildren and are really enjoying the move.  Sadly, our official greeter "Gunner", our pet dog, did not make the move with us and we miss him dearly. He loved to sit on our desks as we worked and visit with all the clients who he made feel very welcome.
